On January 1st, 1983, the internet was born. People now had access to communicate with anyone at any moment. This opened up the floodgates for cyberbullying, hate groups, which created a negative perception of digital communities for much of the early 2000s.
The Better Generation stands for positivity and creating a community that is there for one another. Creating a “Digital Haven” by disrupting today's normal social media standards, we strive to adapt and welcome a safe space for all of us, even online.
The white upper of this cap was designed to symbolize the purity we try to create in our community, along with the loud logo stitchwork to resemble our exciting and unique personalities online. In contrast, the dark brim is a reminder that the dark web is always within reach, creating a true distinction between the temptations of the current digital landscape.
